Bricks cerámica la paloma is a leading manufacturer of ceramic bricks and bricks slips, facing bricks, rustic bricks, stoneware bricks, klinker bricks, Ctalonian measurment bricks, Catalonian "toxto"

A brick is a ceramic item, usually in the shape of an orthoedric block, obtained by moulding, drying and firing a clay paste as high temperatures. They are used to build brick walls, either with a visible brick finish as well as partition walls, dividing walls... It is believed that the first bricks were made about 6,000 b.C. The clay used to manufacture them comes is a sedimentary material comprising very small particles of hydrated alumina silicate, apart from other minerals such as kaolin, montmorillonite and illite. Adobe is considered to be the forerunner of bricks, as it is based on the concept of using clayey mud to build walls, although adobe does not undergo the physical-chemical transformations caused by firing. Bricks are an irreversible version of adobe, manufactured by firing at high temperature. They are usually in the shape of a rectangular prism. The different sizes are given different names, such as soga, tizón y grueso, of which "soga" is the largest. Furthermore, the different sides of a brick are given different names, such as stretcher face, edge and header (the stretcher face is the largest). (W i k i)

Pavers a paloma is the leading manufactuer of ceramic pavers and ceramic floor tiles, klinker tiles, ceramic klinker tiles, ceramic pavers, factory of paver,, bricks, ceramic tiles

Pavers (the Spanish word "adoquin" comes from the Arab term ad-dukkân, "square stone") are manufactuered rectangular blocks used to build pavements.  The origins of pavers go back 25 centuries. The Carthaginians and Romans used paving tiles on their roads to speed up travel and for long life. With a view to making transport more comfortable, it was realised that a more continuous road surface was required and this could not be achieved with previous cobbled road surfaces. In the times of Napoleon, great avenues were built in the cities using pavers, among other reasons to facilitate the transport of large artillery pieces along the streets. Improvements in production have contributed to the technical improvement of pavers without altering the essential aspects. The ceramic nature of pavers provides them with exceptional features concerning the life and resistance of colours, mainly. (W i k i)
